(b)    the right to rectification;

(c)    the right to erasure;

(d)    the right to restrict processing;

(e)    the right to object to processing;

(f)     the right to data portability;

(g)    the right to complain to a supervisory authority; and

You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

7.12  To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal information is consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

            Our Reviews

            Our small team loves nothing more than delivering good service for our clients and the guests that stay in their properties.

            Our can-do, hands-on approach and attention to detail means we’ve received some amazing testimonials and Bath property co-host reviews over the years.  We’ve collected a small selection of them together below.

            Nook of Bath were wonderful in caring for our lovely Grade 2 listed Bath home after we moved to Australia. Having made the difficult decision to sell the house, Christopher and Belinda looked after every aspect of managing the house through the autumn and winter while it was on the market and all the way through to completion. They dealt with heating problems and chasing contractors, aired the house and kept it presentable and kept us fully up to date along the way. They provided such a wonderful caring service – and great peace of mind for us.

            Nook of Bath have been looking after and letting out my property for holiday lets since the beginning of August 2019 and I consider myself very lucky to have found them.

            Since the very beginning, the property has been almost fully booked and consistently receives excellent ratings from guests. Nook take care of the day-to-day management including marketing, cleaning, provision of linen/toiletries and all contact with guests – so I don't have to worry about any of that. Everyone I've come into contact with at Nook has been very friendly, approachable and professional – and they're doing a great job, so I am delighted.

            Thanks, we loved the place!! Good communication, fantastic location and the little touches like bread and local things to do were excellent. Check In was super easy and we really appreciated the late check out. We’d be very happy to stay again next time we visit Bath :-)

            Daniel Lee

            This apartment is in a perfect location to explore Bath. It’s really stylish and well equipped and perfect for a weekend break. We really enjoyed our stay here.

            Chloe Mills

            Great flat in a great location! This flat is so close to all the shops, buzz and restaurants of Bath. In addition, it is comfortable, clean and very smart with lots of lovely personal touches to make us feel welcome! Prosecco, chocolates and milk in the fridge! We had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay here again if we went back to Bath. Thanks very much.

            Tisha Ghoorah

            Loved staying here. It was in the perfect location from the train station, to where are tours left from, to restaurants and shops! The space was really cute, clean, and had everything we needed. Prompt check-in time and super flexible. Chris was even willing to help us receive our luggage while we were out on a tour. We ended up getting our luggage the next day, but the fact that he was willing to help out meant a lot. This is a great place to stay in Bath! Highly recommend!!

            This apartment is very modern and comfortable. Light and spacious. Excellent location and easily accessible. Christopher is straight forward and friendly and easily contactable. I highly recommend.

            Naomi Mckenzie

            Chris was very flexible with the check in and check out times, he allowed us to check in earlier than normal and allowed us to check out later. We loved the place so much that we extended our stay for another night which was accommodated by Chris, even though it was a late request on our behalf- thank you! Great host, quick communication and we would definitely stay here again!

            Mateusz Kwiatkowski

            This place was perfect. The huge balcony catches the sun all day and the apartment was really clean. It is a short 10 minute walk along the canal to the town centre - we didn't have to catch a bus / taxi all weekend. Chris was a great host offering tips and advice on bars, cafes and restaurants. Would 100% recommend.

            Nick Drewett

            Great flat in a good location. Easy downhill trip to centre of town, harder work on the way home...(especially on a hot May weekend!). Communication very prompt and good, accurate details provided the flat and area. Nice touch to find bread and milk in the fridge, thank you Chris.

            Roberta Boodoosingh

            This is the perfect flat to explore Bath from. The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, shopping, and pubs all within walking distance, even for our 10 and 7 year old. The house is extremely comfortable and well stocked. The host was great. He communicated well and promptly and had good suggestions on things to do and see in the local area. If we come back I would definitely stay again and highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Bath.

              Our Properties

              Belvedere

              A three-story, three bedroom house in the centre of Bath. Nook found this rare gem on behalf of a client looking for a long-term investment. It needed careful renovation not only to modernise it but also to restore the period features that gave it its character. The owners wanted to restore and holiday-let the property to give them the flexibility of using the house when they visit Bath while having it professionally managed for guests.

              London Street

              A charming two-story maisonette, this property also has a spectacular roof terrace that enjoys stunning views across Bath. It was originally on a long-term let but the owner wanted to have more flexibility as they were working on a renovation plan for the property. Nook worked with the owner to organise the renovation around marketing the apartment as a successful holiday let.

              St. Anns

              A fantastic family house tucked away from the centre of Bath in a typical Bathonian courtyard. The current owners had outgrown the house but didn’t want to sell this rare find in the city centre. Deciding instead to holiday-let their home, Nook took over the management of the house allowing the owners to move to a property that better suited their growing family.

              Green Park

              A stunning, spacious garden apartment in the beautiful Green Park area of Bath. The owner of this apartment relocated from Bath but wanted to hold on to the property as an investment. They wanted a management company to oversee the letting and to offer day-to-day support and were recommended Nook. Working alongside the owner, Nook help furnish and style the apartment to present it as a vibrant holiday let.

              Hope View

              Tucked away on an impressive development of high-end homes, this one-bedroom apartment is a super-stylish space. Nook helped the owner prepare the property for the holiday-let market and now fully manage it on their behalf, leasing with guests and handling any queries. The owner still uses the apartment whenever they come to Bath and loves its central location.

              Riverhouse

              With its grand, country-estate feel, this beautiful Georgian property is like stepping back in time – it is certainly an unusual find in the heart of Bath! The owners had previously used another management company but were not satisfied with the level of support they received so they approached Nook to take the house on. Living outside the UK they wanted someone local that they could trust to support them fully manage the property and Nook were delighted to help.

                Why Nook

                Not all property management companies are equal.

                Nook has been offering Bath property management, consultancy, lettings and maintenance services for years.  We’re a local, family-run business and we truly care about what we do.

                Small enough to care, big enough to cope. We’re a family business, so when you call us, you’ll speak to one of the owners, not a call handler on a switchboard. This means we do friendly, responsive and flexible as standard and nothing is too much trouble.

                We’ll often go out of our way to make sure a job is done right or a guest request is dealt with in a way which exceeds their expectations.

                We’re based in Bath and we know the city inside out. We help clients and guests in person, not over the phone. We also use local suppliers and trades to get jobs done.

                That sounds simple, but it has real benefits for our clients and their guests. It means we’re always ‘just around the corner’ and we can respond to requests, problems and emergencies really quickly.

                It also means we know Bath well. Whether you’re a client looking for advice to ensure you invest in right property or a guest needing advice on what to visit, we’ll be on hand to help and provide genuine expertise.

                We’re not ashamed to say we’re old-fashioned face-to-face and phone call people. We won’t hide behind email and messaging services (although we do use them if you want us to).

                If something needs doing or discussing, we’ll be there to talk to you or your guests in person and we’ll roll our sleeves up and get the job done. If you ask us to do something and it can be done there and then, that’s what we’ll do. No excuses, no waiting, just the reliable, effective and practical service you need from us.

                When we started Nook, we knew we wouldn’t be working normal ‘9 to 5’ days and that’s absolutely fine by us. We love helping you, no matter when you need that help. We do emergency callouts in the dead of night; we do advice, updates and meetings in the evening after our clients finish their day jobs; and we do property maintenance over the weekends and between guest bookings so that your occupancy levels don’t suffer.

                That’s the nature of our business and we love it.  Whatever you need, whenever you need it, just ask and we’ll be there.

                We know you and your situation are unique. We know your requirements and expectations are different from the last person we spoke to, so we’ll never assume that a ‘one-size-fits-all’ service is appropriate.

                Everything we do can be tailored.  We’ll always try and adapt what we offer to suit your needs and we’ll never say ‘no’ to a reasonable request. There’s always a way to get what you need done and we’ll find it.

                We also don’t mind working alongside our clients to manage and maintain their properties or Airbnb listings. We’ll do what you need us to and you can handle what you feel comfortable doing yourself.  We’re there to make life easier for you and ensure your property is managed in exactly the way you want.
