Why choose Nook to manage your property for you? We know deciding which Airbnb or holiday rental management company to trust to look after your home is a tricky one. For a start there are hundreds out there!
They all seem to have similar names, promise to handle maintenance, bookings, queries, cleaning and basically run your home like a 5-star hotel for you. So with everyone offering the same thing, who should you go for…?
At Nook of Bath, we wanted to offer a service that sets us apart from the competition. We are ‘Property Guardians’ – and this is what makes us Nook:
Location, location, location
This classic adage really rings true for us. We’re based in Bath and so are ideally placed to take on properties in the city centre. Being central, we can visit properties as and when we need to in person and we know our properties inside and out – whether it’s checking in guests or making sure that everything is in order.
We can and do visit our properties regularly, we never let our guests check-in without having had that final check around and we’re just a phone call away if guests need us.
We’re in the know
Just as importantly, we have local knowledge and that is a huge advantage when it comes to tourism and property.
If guests ask us where to eat or what attractions to visit, we can tell them, “try Sotto Sotto – but make sure you book in advance because it can get busy at the weekend”, or “have you heard of the Herschel Museum of Astronomy? It’s where William Herschel discovered the planet Uranus and it’s right in the centre of Bath”

Our guests can speak directly to us
Call us old fashioned, but we actually like to speak to people! We read every message and reply with a proper response – whether that’s thanking guests for their booking, contacting them a week before their stay, or providing check-in details.
We’ll help with any queries along the way – restaurant suggestions, travel queries, local babysitters, travel cots, car park info, the lot! And we do it because that’s part of the fun for us, we like speaking to people and finding out what’s brought them to Bath or what hidden gems they’ve discovered in the city during their stay.
We also have a direct booking website Nook Stays where guests can view all of our properties, get in touch with us and find more information about their stay.
We’ll set up for you
When guests arrive they absolutely want to see it clean and prepared with fresh linen, they almost certainly want to be able to make a tea or coffee after their journey and they’ll usually want have a quick flick through the house manual for the wifi code and to get their bearings. As the host, we’ll sort all this so every check-in is seamless.
All our properties are professionally cleaned and we provide all fresh linen, the house manual is written by us based on our knowledge of Bath and your property. And we provide a few essentials like bread and milk to get guests started, so they can have that all important cup of tea or coffee after a long trip!
We’re always on standby
If something happens, we’re here. And when you rent your property for short-term holiday lets it’s wise to have someone local on hand that can help.
Whether the wifi is playing up or there’s a toilet that won’t flush we can get there in a jiffy to sort it out. And 9 times out of 10 we can fix it ourselves without having to call out the professionals and we’ll just let you know out of courtesy.
